Christmas celebration 2024

On 28 November 2024, it was that time of year again: Stahlstadt Vespa from Linz gathered for its annual Christmas celebration. This year, we met at the cosy Cantina in Kleinmünchen. The meal was a traditional “Bratl in da Rein”, a hearty Austrian roast pork dish that everyone enjoyed and that helped set the mood for the evening. Almost the whole club together! Ten of our twelve club members were able to attend, showing how much we value this annual tradition. One running joke was our president’s very late arrival. Everyone affectionately calls him “da Präsi”, and, as the saying goes, the best comes last! His arrival marked the start of the official part of the evening and made the celebration even more special. Da Präsi: news, praise and a little Vespa romance In a short speech, our president shared the latest developments at Vespa Club Austria, of which Stahlstadt Vespa Linz is a member. He covered upcoming events, new projects and general updates for the 2025 season. He then thanked all the members for the kilometres we had ridden together, the many wonderful events and the passion that makes our club special. One highlight was his tribute to the impressive distances covered during the season. Our member Wolfgang Mayr received a special mention for riding almost 12,000 kilometres, an incredible commitment. To recognise his achievement, the president presented him with an exclusive Vecchi Cani Vespa calendar for 2025, a fitting symbol of his impressive mileage. Good company and anticipation for the new season After the official part, it was time to relax. Lively conversations about Vespa tours, technical details and the finest routes of the 2024 season brought plenty of laughter and plans for the coming year. The Christmas celebration was a perfect opportunity to look back on the highlights and strengthen our club spirit. With its relaxed atmosphere and delicious food, the Cantina in Kleinmünchen was an ideal choice for the occasion. Everyone praised the roast pork, which supplied the energy needed to do justice to all the stories from the past year. A successful end to the year Stahlstadt Vespa Linz’s Christmas celebration in 2024 was a great success. It gave us the chance to bring the year to a close together and look forward to the 2025 season.
